If you’re searching to find the best RTT therapist, you are most likely willing to make a change in your life. You have likely tried other things. Perhaps spoke to somebody. Perhaps read the books. Yet something still hangs up. I have been there. And now, being an RTT practitioner, I hear it all the time with clients. Then lets discuss what really counts when finding the correct therapist.
It is not about popularity
Google is overwhelmed with names, profiles and advertisements. However, the first on the list is not always the best RTT therapist for you. It is the one that makes you feel understood. Who has time to listen. Who generates an environment of calmness and safety. That is the therapist who will really help you.
They are supposed to make things clear
RTT is a profound process, however, it is not supposed to be perplexing. A good therapist will explain to you how it works in non-technical terms. No jargon. No sales talk. Just honest answers. At the start of each session, I explain to my clients what all the steps are. You will never be left guessing what and why.
Seek adequate training and experience
Anyone providing RTT must have trained with the official RTT school and must have worked with real clients. That matters. You want somebody who can adjust to you and not read off the paper.

You want a person who does not hurry, who does not speak down your ear, who does not make you feel that you are a number. During each of the sessions, I take time to listen to the actual problem. Not only the superficial things. But the tale behind. That is where the real change begins.
Trust how you feel
When it does not feel right, then it is most likely not right. On the one hand, when a person feels safe to speak to, even during a brief conversation, that counts.
Before any sessions, I always give a free 15-minute call. It also allows us both the opportunity to determine fit.
